Most "premium" audio brands sell soft-touch plastic, a velvet pouch, and a film shot in slow motion. We started from a different question — what changes if the materials are actually expensive, not just lit to look that way. We partner with a recycling firm to source both the aluminum housing and the ABS structural core — nothing virgin, nothing landfill-bound. Full-grain leather, hand-wrapped. Nothing sprayed on, nothing simulated.
Every earbud case on the market looked the same — plastic, disposable, and never recycled. ONYX started as a reaction to that, not a business plan.
